Photographer
Photography has been Artur Tabor’s passion for 20 years. He specializes
in photographing and filming animals, and especially birds in the
natural environment. He cooperates with nature magazines in Poland, as
well as foreign agencies, including BBC. He also makes nature films. He
received many awards and honours, his work has been displayed in many
individual and group exhibitions. Artur Tabor also struggles for
protection of the natural beauty which he photographs.

"Travelling with great pleasure around Poland I am constantly aware that nature loses with humans. Its last wild areas shrink systematically." | „Each photograph begins with a field trip in search of the animal’s refuge. Than I build a hiding place, masked to resemble the surrounding as closely as possible – covered by branches, reed, grass etc. When everything is ready I say good-bye to my family, take my cameras, tripods, a reserve of hot tea and sandwiches for my stay in the hiding place, which lasts sometimes for a few days.“ |
